HAIRSPRAY       Hamilton Fam. Theatre,  Cambridge    Wednesday , April 4, 2018      

Get ready for something big with HAIRSPRAY, the musical -comedy that won 8 TONY awards including Best Musical.

It’s 1962… the 50’s are out and change is in the air. Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – to dance! She wins a coveted spot on the Corny Collins Show and overnight is transformed from social outcast to teen celebrity. A Must SEE. Prior to the show lunch will be at the fabulous GOLF”S STEAKHOUSE and following the show we will stop at REID’S CHOCOLATE STORE.

WEST SIDE STORY   St. Jacobs Playhouse     Thursday, May 24, 2018

One of the great love stories inspired by Romeo and Juliet. Tony and Maria find themselves caught in a turf war between rival gangs – the Puerto Rican Sharks and the American Jets. Breathtaking choreography,  charismatic characters and a sweeping score including “I Feel Pretty”,  “Somewhere”, “Maria”, “Tonight”, “America” and more. Don’t miss it. 

We will be given time to explore and shop at the St. Jacob’s Market and have a buffet lunch at the Crossroads restaurant.

CANADA 151- BETTER LATE THAN SORRY   Drayton Theatre   Tues. June 26, 2018

 

After reaching his milestone 70th birthday, RCMP constable Archibald F. Inkster and his faithful horse are both being put out to pasture. Join us at 24 Sussex Drive as our favourite Mountie throws himself a retirement hoedown complete with music, dancing, humour and biting political satire. 

Free time at St Jacob’s Market and lunch at Stone Crock Restaurant in St. Jacob’s prior to the show.

MIDLAND CRUISE & STE. MARIE AMONG THE HURON - TUESDAY, SEPT. 25, 2018

Sightseeing cruise and lunch, on the 300 passenger Miss Midland,  among Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands. Following the 2.5 hr cruise we will visit Ontario’s first European Community, Sainte Marie among the Hurons. This community dates back to 1639 when a Jesuit Mission was established on this site.

GRAND  HOTEL                   SHAW FESTIVAL                        THURSDAY, OCT. 11, 2018     

Check into the lavish Grand Hotel, where the lives of ten hotel guests collide over one unforgettable night. Love. Betrayal. Jealousy. Murder. And the glamour of Berlin in the Roaring Twenties. This adventure will start with a wine tasting and lunch at Rockway Glen Estates Winery followed by the show and perhaps some time in Niagara -on-the-Lake following the show.

ALL CHEQUES must be made payable to “YEAR ROUND TRAVEL INC.”. The cheques will still be mailed to PAM GUY, but cheques must be made out for EACH tour and dated as requested with the trip. Pam must also have all the names to include on the trip. If the trip becomes fully booked, we will establish a WAIT LIST.  If you cancel more than thirty days prior to the trip a full refund will be made.  If you cancel closer to the trip than LISTED PAYMENT DATE , if a substitute cannot be found, you may forfeit your payment.   

WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 40 PARTICIPANTS FOR EACH TRIP. ALL TRIPS will depart CENTENNIAL PARK SE PARKING LOT (Centennial Park Rd. just North of Rathburn)

MODERN WESTERN SQUARE DANCING

Great for the mind and exercise for the body. Come join us and have fun while learning modern western square dancing. This low impact activity requires constant movement and quick directional changes which help keep the body in shape. We meet at a local church in Etobicoke every Tuesday afternoon. We also enjoy occasional square dances on the week end.
